The TQUK Level 2 Award in Paediatric First Aid (QCF) course is a two day first aid course that goes beyond the requirements set by OFSTED and SureStart for those needing a 2 day 12 hour first aid course for adult, infant and child. The Paediatric First Aid course is perfect for childminders, nannies, au-pairs and anyone involved or working with young children. The Paediatric First Aid Certificate is valid for 3 years. This is a regulated qualification that is provided through an awarding organisation that is recognised and regulated by one of the UK regulators (e.g. Ofqual in England, SQA accreditation in Scotland). The certificate of achievement awarded to successful learners will contain the logo of the Awarding Organisation (TQUK) and the relevant UK regulators along with the full qualification title and number.
This course is not an HSE course, if you require a first aid course approved by HSE have a look at our 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course or the 3 day First Aid at Work (FAW) course.
By booking your Paediatric First Aid course through us you have the additional benefits of a free PDF Student Manual, free weekly video refresher emails and we'll even let you know when it's time to renew your qualification!
The Paediatric First Aid course can be taken at your own venue, workplace or a suitable venue of your choosing ensuring familiar surroundings and no wasted travelling time. It also enables us to run the role play scenarios in the environment in which the First Aid would be used making the course highly relevant and appropriate.
